Why Now?

Now is the time to take stock in the image of Greater Raleigh - from the inside perspective of its residents to the outside perspective from visitors to our area. Wake County is undergoing a destination transformation and is experiencing more than $3 billion in new projects, with the majority to be completed by 2010. Product development in Wake County ranges from the state-of-the-art 510,000 square foot Raleigh Convention Center to luxury hotels, museum expansions, world-class sporting facilities and more – all with the intent of revitalizing Wake County and Downtown Raleigh.
